Samurai Robe. This is a Jin-Baori, battle surcoat worn over armor which is made of red wool and silk brocade. Its design was partly copied from western clothing of Portuguese who first came to Japan in 16th century. It has beautiful "warabi-mon" bracken crest in the back which is applique.
